Mia Lovato is a 10 year old talented and dedicated youth athlete who has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu since she was just 5 years old. Now a proud member of the Carlson Gracie Tucson Youth Competition Team, Mia has quickly made a name for herself both on and off the mat. Known for her competitive spirit and technical skill, her nickname "Nightmare" reflects her fierce determination during competition—though her teammates know her as one of the sweetest and most supportive partners during training.
Mia has a heart for teaching and enjoys mentoring the younger students, especially the Little Bulldogs. She takes pride in helping them improve while sharing her love for the sport. Whether it's guiding others through drills or offering encouragement before matches, Mia's positivity and leadership shine through.
Outside of Jiu-Jitsu, Mia has a variety of interests. She loves crafting, dancing, and gymnastics, and her vibrant personality makes her a joy to be around. Friends and teammates alike agree that Mia brings fun and energy wherever she goes.
This competition year, Mia is ready to support her teammates and continue improving her skills. She is always looking for ways to help her team succeed and grow, and she's excited for the challenges and victories ahead.
